Mission Statement

Mission-Chiropractic’s purpose is to promote chiropractic and adjust all those who are subluxated throughout the world, especially in 3rd world countries where resources are so terribly limited. We also intend to cultivate students of chiropractic from those deprived areas so they may return to their beloved countries and work in offices established by Mission-Chiropractic, Hands on Health or Mission Life International. Mission-Chiropractic works to raise funds for Charitable organizations in these countries which provide food, clothing and shelter to those in need!

Mission-Chiropractic recognizes the enormous advancement of the Chiropractor's role in the Wellness Revolution and we feel that millions of human beings do not have the luxury to experience the power of a chiropractic adjustment. Therefore, Mission-Chiropractic and Mission Life International were formed to serve the world and help all chiropractors to expand their hearts and minds.

VISION

To provide Chiropractic Mission Trips and Community Education programs  that familiarize people with the benefits of drugless chiropractic care in countries where Chiropractic is relatively unknown

To provide humanitarian service programs compatible with chiropractic philosophy to provide humanitarian aid to poor communities.

To include spinal health education efforts such as “Straighten up America” in communities where we provide humanitarian work.

To recruit, encourage and coach chiropractors who can pioneer the Chiropractic profession in countries with little or no Chiropractors.

To recruit some of the brightest minds as team players who can contribute to the overall efforts of Mission-Chiropractic.

To recruit chiropractors who wish to open their practices in under served countries.

To provide a placement service for chiropractors interested in practicing in third world countries.

To maintain a website for the purposes of providing information on the availability of Chiropractic Mission Trips around the world and for recruiting purposes.

To solicit moneys for Chiropractic Scholarships which are awarded to students in 3rd world and developing countries.

To seek funding for the establishment of humanitarian chiropractic offices in third world and developing countries.

To recommend that governments offer funding for the education of their own citizens to obtain a DC degree with the agreement of returning to their homeland and establish a practice or work in government hospitals in cases when they are educated abroad.  We have already approached the President and cabinet of the Dominican Republic and the Minister of Health and education in Trinidad on this issue. Haiti will be next.

To encourage institutions of higher learning in third world countries to establish Chiropractic College’s in their countries. This will permit the training of a greater number of new chiropractors within their own language and culture and at a lower, more affordable cost for the indigenous population.

To recruit Chiropractic Educators who wish to participate in the development of new Chiropractic Schools in foreign countries.

To consult with Educational Institutions interested in adding a chiropractic department that meets the International Curriculum Standards.

To partner with universities within third world countries in establishing chiropractic training programs that meet International standards. We have proposed this in the Dominican Republic and Trinidad.

To participate in International Chiropractic organizations to help with the delivery of Chiropractic care.

To establish cooperative alliances with Chiropractic Organizations already involved in the development and delivery of Chiropractic care.

To support the development of a strong and unified Chiropractic National Association in each country.

To support the legalization efforts by Chiropractors in every country that establishes legislated standards for DC registration in their country; and which have provisions that ensure public safety by utilizing guidelines such as the CCP guidelines.

To monitor the efforts of the different entities who also are involved in the introduction of Chiropractic in countries with few or no chiropractors.

Our proposal for the New York Chiropractic Council, the World Chiropractic Alliance, the International Chiropractic Association and the American Chiropractic Association is that these organizations establish a Council on Humanitarian Efforts. This Council would award Grants and Financial Aid to students or new graduates who would like to participate in humanitarian service in third world countries. The following would be distributed to all members.

The Chiropractic Council's Council on Humanitarian Efforts

Purpose

The Chiropractic Council desires its membership to engage in humanitarian efforts. A humanitarian is one who charitably lays down his life for others in need (i.e. his professional skills, his time, his physical efforts, his spiritual commitment and his financial resources). The Council on Humanitarian Efforts helps Mission-Chiropractic and Mission Life International as an organization, and its membership as individuals to serve mankind's needs throughout the world in this area. Our goal is achieved through domestic and international patient care, chiropractic wellness, and education. As an extension of this desire, travel grants are given to provide an opportunity for chiropractors to give a period of professional service to the people of a developing country.

Duration of Service

A minimum of 4 days at one site.

Grants

The recipient of this grant is responsible for contact and agreement with the Mission-Chiropractic and Mission Life International and the country in which he or she desires to serve. The Council on Humanitarian Efforts of the Chiropractic council will assist Mission-Chiropractic and Mission Life International in providing several possibilities of institutions desiring such service. This grant is specifically for service in seriously underserved areas, both within or outside the United States.

Financial Aid

Grants of $1,000 are available, and up to six grants per year (three every six months) may be awarded. Other funds for travel must be raised by the recipient. The service must be completed within one calendar year after the grant is awarded. Grant recipients who are unable to make their planned trip within the one year period will be required to return the grant monies, but will be eligible to re-apply for future grants.

Mission Chiropractic. My mission is chiropractic. I hope that
it is yours as well.  In the late seventies, I lived in a
monastery for 6 months. Then I had a lucid dream a few years
ago after listening to a speaker named Pasqual Cerasoli, DC.
I dreamt that I was with DD Palmer. The founder of
Chiropractic. It was very spiritual.  In this dream, DD
instructed me on the ways of chiropractic. A revelation,
Chiropractic could reunite the physical with the spiritual.
As the dream was concluding, I made a solemn oath to DD
Palmer and to the great Universe (god) that I would bring
forth this spiritual message of chiropractic. I would lead a
nd teach Chiropractors, students and the public about
chiropractic. I would help to lead this great profession
to glory. Before this dream, I was a chiropractor. Since
this dream, I have been a chiropractic leader and
chiropractic missionary. I began studying philosophy,
theology and spiritualism.  I read the works of Mother
Theresa.  Mother Theresa wrote “When our physical world
ends God will separate all people into two groups, just a
s the Sheppard separates the sheep from the goats. In
addition, god will say to those on his right, "You shall
enter the Kingdom of Glory because when I was hungry you
fed me: when I was naked, you clothed me, when I was
thirsty, you gave me drink, when I was sick, and you
tended to me. And those on the right will say, But,
Lord, when did I see you naked or hungry or thirsty?"
god said," Whatever you do for the least of our brother
and sisters, you did it to me". Mother Theresa stated,
"That god will judge us on how we loved and how much
compassion we had for our brother and sisters. God comes
to us in the distressing disguise of the poor and asks us
for our help" I understood this to mean that the universe
wants us to fill our spirit with love; with compassion,
as we serve our fellow man with kindness, with joy, with
the love and compassion of angels. In order to have
spiritual growth we need to serve love and compassion.
Serve it to all humanity. One of my missions is to
alleviate the suffering of others especially the poor,
sick and disabled.  When I do this I feel alive. This
incredible gift of giving is rewarded with the
experience of feeling the extraordinary in the
ordinary. I now lead Chiropractic Mission trips to
third and fourth world countries. Please join me in
our quest for peace, natural health and a near perfect
world.

It’s amazing to think that our Creator finely crafted
our complex and intricate bodies from the dust of the
earth. Every detail and function has been specifically
designed to aid in optimal physical performance.

However, as time goes on, physical, chemical and
emotional stress causes our health to slowly decline.
Some of these stresses include poor posture, strenuous
physical activities, poor diets and use of alcohol,
prescription medications and drugs, emotional and
family matters, financial and career demands.

The ending result is typically pinched nerves,
herniated discs, or many other painful physical
diseases which occur in the body. After years of
gradual spinal misalignment, the body must then be
corrected to help restore its optimal health.

Here are some of the philosophical principles of
chiropractic:

"The healer you are seeking is found within ...

"There is a Universal Intelligence in all matter
constantly giving to it all of its qualities and
characteristics thus maintaining everything in
existence."

We recognize the presence of an Innate Intelligence
within all living things-Innate Intelligence being
that part of Universal Intelligence that "resides"
within living vessels.

We acknowledge the animating Life Force within all
living things as being the sole difference between
life and death?

We work with Life Force or Vital Energy that is
Light, Life and Spirit. We seek to release
interference and restore tone to the nervous system.
This will help the body function properly. We do this
by delivering Chiropractic adjustments and teaching
the vitalistic principles.

We recognize that we cannot heal, fix or cure others.
We are however facilitators of the healing process.
It is the Vitality within which controls, heals,
repairs, organizes, coordinates and adapts all cells
in living systems.

From a mechanistic point of view, it is the genetic
make-up and the nerve system that controls and runs
the body. Yet if this were true, a corpse would be
alive! It has a nerve system and DNA. From a
Chiropractic vitalistic standpoint, it is the Life
Force flowing through the nerve system that
activates the genetic make-up. This simple
distinction makes a huge difference on how to
address health, healing, wellness and wellbeing.

We motivate our clientele to receive regular
chiropractic care by inspiring them as to the
possibilities and potential for greater health
and healing that is waiting to be expressed.

Chiropractic Explained

The positive symptomatic results experienced by
millions are what have made Chiropractic the
largest drugless healing art in the world. As the
public has experienced, countless conditions
resolved when, through Chiropractic, the healing
power of the body is unleashed. Yet there is
more to it!

Could it be that Chiropractic is more than
providing care for back and neck problems? Is
it possible that it is more than assisting the
healing process from various aches, pains,
symptoms, sickness or diseases?

Could we be shortchanging ourselves by utilizing
Chiropractic care in those limited ways?

Chiropractic is also about deepening the inner
connection to one’s essence. It is not about
feeling less by numbing symptoms. To the
contrary it is about feeling more and being
more aware and alive. It is about experiencing
life fully. It is about healing and feeling.
Ultimately it is about Quality of Life!

Mission-Chiropractic intention is to assist people
in reconnecting with the Source of all Life. We know
that by helping people to re-member who they are
(Divine Beings), they will choose to express greater
levels of Love towards themselves and their fellow
Human Beings. We will make higher conscious choices
about our “internal environment”
(our Temple of Spirit) which will automatically
change our choices toward our external environment.
The main way we accomplish this intention is by
teaching and applying vitalistic philosophy via Pure
ChiropracTIC.

Through the many stressors of life from – entering
the world (Birthing process) to leaving this world
(Dying process) there are many experiences that we
perceive to be too much to handle, and we store
them in our bodies. They “clog” our receptive
antennas and interfere with the flow of Abundant
Life Energy.

Through the adjustment process we can clear the
interference and allow Life to flow as it was
intended. We then grow and learn from those lessons
and evolve consciously.

The following is what the recipients of our service
read in their Native language before they are served!

What you are receiving is a gift from God. The Power
that made to body heals the body. Chiropractic was
given to humanity to assist us in making a greater
connection to the source of life. Through receiving
the Adjustment you will open up and remove any
interference to the transmission of healing energy
(love) that flows from above down inside and out.
As this happens you will experience more ease,
peace, health, abundance, and joy. The people that
are serving you have been given a gift and want to
share it with you. They are here on their own
accord and have a single purpose, to assist the
world to heal. They know that through sharing their
gift they too will be healed.

The adjustment is performed by laying on of hands to
the spine (which protects your life line -- brain
and spinal cord). The alignment will allow you to
express your full potential as a human being
-- a child of God.

Please share this message with all the people you
love. Have them come and receive the Adjustments.

We thank you for allowing us to serve you in this
most sacred way.  If you choose the path of physical
wellness Mission Chiropractic would be honored to be
your guide in helping you explore, discover, and
practice the tools and techniques of mind-body
healing and Chiropractic.

Mission Chiropractic's unique approach fuses the
Eastern healing traditions with the best in modern
Western medicine. Over the past decade, thousands of
people from around the world have experienced
profound healing and transformation at our
missions, offices, and workshops.

Our Programs

Five Facets of Health

Diet

Everyone has heard the saying, “You are what you eat”.
The truth is, “You are what your body gets from what
you eat". Actually, the whole truth is, “You are what
your body gets from what you eat, drink, breathe, see,
feel, taste, touch and hear”. In other words, diet is
everything that enters your body's internal
environment from the external world.

So, what are you putting into your body on a regular
basis? What type of movies do you watch? What type of
music do you listen to? What type of books/magazines
are you reading?

While it is important to breathe fresh air and
consume foods and beverages that are rich in
nutrients, it is also vital to ensure that what
you see, feel, hear and touch is also "nutritious”.
The “nutritional value” of your overall diet will
ultimately be determined by your body's ability to
process and adapt to its external environment.

Relaxation

Relaxation is more than just sleeping well. In physics,
relaxation is defined as the exponential return of a
system to equilibrium (balance) following a
disturbance.

It can also be defined as a state of refreshing
tranquility. We see relaxation as a combination of
both. It is a physical, emotional and spiritual
mind-body connection in which each and every cell
gets a chance to call "timeout" for repair and
regeneration. When relaxation occurs, your body is
more likely to adapt to chemical, physical and
emotional stress encountered on a daily basis.
How well your body adapts to this stress will
ultimately determine your potential for wellness

Exercise

Exercise can be defined as any activity that requires
physical or mental exertion. This "stress" helps
regulate metabolism while promoting biochemical
balance to the many systems of the area responsible
for running the human body. All parameters of human
performance and function are directly improved
through the process of exercise.

An individuals potential for wellness will depend on
his/her body's ability to convert the physical,
chemical and emotional stress of exercise into
constructive energy.

Adjustment

As human beings, we live our lives through our nerve
system (brain, spinal cord and spinal nerves). How
well the body functions is ultimately determined by
the ability of the brain and body to communicate
with each other. This delicate system is protected
by bones that make up the spine (vertebrae). If any
bones shift out of alignment, pressure may be placed
on the nerves, thereby interfering with the
communication between the brain and body
(vertebral subluxation). When this occurs, an
individual will always be less efficient at
adapting to chemical, physical and emotional stress.
A "subluxated" person literally has a
"disconnection" from above down-inside out
(where healing and vitality originate from)
and will be out of balance mentally, physically,
spiritually and emotionally. This will eventually
cause the body to break down and deteriorate
regardless of the presence or absence of symptoms.

All disease processes begin with the body having some
type of dis-ease first. Lack of nerve communication
between the brain and body can certainly be considered
dis-ease!

When a person is in balance mentally, physically,
spiritually and emotionally; and has a nerve system
free of interference, brain/body communication will
take place more efficiently so you can perform at
your very best! This is what it means to be,
“In Adjustment”.

Mental Wellness

Researchers are finally recognizing what many
“non-traditional” practitioners have been saying
all along; “Thoughts are things”, which have the
power to create a state of health or dis-ease;
produce success or failure; and lead a life of
happiness and fulfillment or sadness and
despair. Mental Wellness includes the broad
spectrum of choices and actions which lead to
a person’s self-esteem, self-concept and
self-worth. How you “show up” on a day to day
basis determines how you view yourself and how
others view you. Mental Wellness is the
connection of your inner purpose and passion
to your outer goals and tasks in all phases of life!

Our Services

Chiropractic: Our mission is to guide people toward
the realization that they are activated from within
and that wellness comes from the inside-out.

Our vision is a global paradigm shift with world-wide
participation in a wellness promotion model.

Our purpose is to bridge the gap from the reactive
system of “healthcare” toward a proactive model of
wellness by providing the tools and venue for one’s
journey.

We read in the 5 Facets of wellness that being in
adjustment means having balance and optimal
communication between the brain and all of the
body parts; which is essential to a wellness
lifestyle.

What truly differentiates doctors of chiropractic
from any other healthcare professionals is the fact
that chiropractors are the only professionals who
are trained to detect and correct tiny misalignments
in the spine called spinal subluxations. The word
“subluxation” comes from the Latin words meaning
“somewhat or slight" (sub) and “to dislocate”
(luxate). So the term ‘vertebral subluxation’
literally means a slight dislocation or
misalignment of the bones in the spine.

The Greek definition of 'lux' means light; so
from that perspective it can be said that when a
person has a subluxation, they have a lower
expression of light, or energy. When a subluxation
occurs, a chiropractor can correct the misaligned bone
and allow it to return to its proper position. This
procedure is appropriately called an adjustment, and
the adjustment enables the body to heal.

The chiropractic adjustment is a quick thrust applied
to a vertebra for the purpose of correcting its
position, movement or both. Adjustments are often
accompanied by an audible release of gas that sounds
like a “crack.” The sound sometimes surprises people
a little bit the first couple times they get adjusted,
but the sensation is usually relieving. There are
times when the audible “cracking” does not occur.

This is often due to either significant muscle
tightness or that the patient may be having a hard
time relaxing during their adjustments; or maybe it
just didn't need to make a noise.
